This application brief introduces how OLI technology can be used to predict corrosion and mineral scaling in geothermal energy production. OLI Studio ScaleChem is used to predict mineral scaling, the recently developed induction time model can also improve scale threat analysis. OLI Studio Corrosion Analyzer predicts general and localized corrosion rates, aiding in identifying causes and implementing preventive actions. OLI Flowsheet: ESP can be utilized for studying geothermal processes at a plant-wide level. The software is highly accurate and widely used in addressing brine production challenges in geothermal wells.
